At the Greater Birmingham Humane Society, we occasionally ran special campaigns and promotions to help pets find homes.
In August 2013, we needed a cat promotion because so many cats had been surrendered--we needed to find as many families for cats as possible.
We came up with Cat Week, a fun jab at Shark Week. It occurred the week following Shark Week to ride on the wave of popularity Shark Week brings each year. In the posts below, you'll see graphics made by my coworker, and all the copy was written by me. Additionally, I got to put my crafting skills to use to make the cardboard box for the cats to "dress up" as sharks.
